In virtually every community there exists an army of animal lovers willing to give of their time for a worthy cause. Not only does engaging a core of volunteers help get the work done more effectively, the volunteers themselves automatically become the shelters greatest champions. They are a natual, grass-roots marketing tool for fundraising, generating adoptions and more.
