Best Friends Animal Society has a stated goal of a No Kill Nation by the year 2025, which is great. Who could possibly argue with that?! But, a growing number of No Kill advocates - at the local level - are expressing concern about the impact its having on local advocates' efforts to reform local animal control centers before 2025.
